What we collect

When you use KnowVest we may collect:

• Your email address (when you create an account or request a recap email)
• Property address and financial inputs you enter into the analysis tool
• Subscription status (managed by Stripe — we never see your card number)
• A hashed IP address for abuse prevention (sha256, not raw IP)
• Usage events (analyses run, advisor runs) for quota and product analytics

What we never collect

• Social Security number or any government ID
• Bank account, routing, or wire details
• Credit card data (Stripe handles all payments end-to-end)
• Precise geolocation or GPS data
• Browser fingerprint data

How we use your data

We use your data to: provide the analysis tool, send recap emails you explicitly request, manage your subscription, and measure product usage. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data retention

Saved analyses are retained until you delete your account. Usage events are pruned after 18 months. Lead records (email captures) are pruned after 36 months of inactivity. You may delete your account at any time from the account page.

Third parties

We share data with: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), OpenAI (AI advisor), RentCast (property data), Google Maps (address and Street View), and Vercel (hosting). Each operates under their own privacy policy.
